I'm new here, and have seen so many beautiful camaros that are like mine. I consider my boy "ratty" looking, and as much as i have done for him,I still feel like people always critisize him when I am at a carshow. I am not as old as they are, I have a family and other vehicles, and money is not at my disposal for a full on restoration. I have done bodywork and used a single stage paint to keep down costs.I work on him myself and I love him!! He was a rare find for me,especially where I live. I have only seen maybe a dozen like him in the 4 years I have been taking him to shows.I feel lucky to own him! I've had him for 8 years, been though ALOT just to even KEEP him!! Here's pics of my boy Tommy!
Nice car, i think it's beautiful. i would love it even more with a rear spoiler and a split bumper but thats just me, people like to leave stuff alone and keep it as original as they can and i also appreciate that. But sweet ride man.

Welcome to the forum!
I couldn't disagree more about calling your '70 Camaro ratty! It's far from ratty, and really a great looking Camaro!
I prefer full bumpers also! The RS is a neat option, but from what I've seen there are more full bumpers converted to split bumpers than what Chevrolet originally made! They used to be rare, but now every time I see a early 2nd gen someone has put split bumpers on, even without changing the sheetmetal or adding the correct nose.
One day our full bumper cars will be the minority!
