Default New Toy

Hi, I'm new to this site and my new Camero. I just want to find out where I can run VIN numbers for free to find out where this vehicle was manufactured....what plant to be specific. I was told Canada (Montreal), but VIN relates to the US of A. It is a 1981 Z28 (supposedly) and I do have a vehicle history report showing all previous owners in Canada. I myself reside in Canada. Any help would be greatly appreciated. PS - The ownership doesn't specify if this vehicle is an authentic "Z"28. It may have all of the badges, but again how do you tell this?

Thanks for the info. I will post a couple of pics in the intro section. I live in the London, Ontario area. It is between Toronto and the Detroit border.

Someone get a rope. I can't believe I didn't notice this the first time. I retract my previous statement until you go outside and read the the word on the lower right corner of your dashboard.

Joe you better talk to your boy.

You can always tell a diehard Camaro guy, when he spells it with two "A"s.
