I was working in the gravel and dirt before I moved in my new house Vall. I feel ya. I actually had a memory foam mattress top for keeping my knees from bleeding working on the woman power window once. It turned into a regular tool for working on cars. I still use it when its cold, lol. Insulates me from the concrete well. I can't describe how good I feel being able to buy a compressor and welder now that I have a place to store it.

I've got a couple of those black knee mats that my old employer bought before I retired, but I seem to always forget about them until I'm either done or almost done!

Appears to be a truck 4 spd. from the stick on the floor. They started that body in 1955, but I don't think the Ffleetside was an option until '58 or '59.

its a 1959 GMC wildside it has the original 270 i6 and 4 speed on the floor. Plans are for now to put a LS1 and 4L60E auto swap. but this is one is gonna be a full on restore. Everything is there the PO was working on it but his wife needs the garage back. so he is boxing it all up and ill be towing it home in a week. If you all want ill keep you updated on progress. I know its not a Camaro, but you areo such good guys here thought you would possibly want to see the progress
