Since yours is a 2nd gen V8 car, I don't think this thread is going to be viewed by many here in the 1st gen 6 banger section.
Away we go to 2nd gen.........

Soak all six bolts with PB Blaster daily for about three days leading up to it. Then use a beaker bar and not an impact. A impact can bust the cage nut loose/ When you get that far I can explain how to realign the new one.

Get the car jacked up and break all 4 bolts loose first. Start by supporting the body from the firewall bolts that hold the front fenders to the firewall. Either use a hoist and chains to each point, or an engine puller. Jack the car up under the subframe, put jackstands under the subframe in 4 locations, attach the hoist or engine puller to the firewall, then let the car down until the chains are tight and the subframe is resting on the jackstands.
Once the chains are tight you can remove all the bolts and raise the body. Then the subframe can be raised and jackstands removed. After that just roll it out with the tires and wheels on it. A floorjack with a 4x4 across the subframe will hold the back up as you roll it out. Best to have at least one buddy to assist and two is better!

Ok so do I put a cherry picker on the body on both sides or what how do I support the body and not the subframe I think I'm following yall but not really sure and what is the best way to jack up the car because I started to jack it up the other day and the frame was going up but not the body so I got scared and let the jack down for fear of warping the body I have to get the motor and trans out and to do that I gotta jack the car up

See the orange stands? They are on the pinch weld, plenty sturdy. Name: 009-17.jpg

The subframe will probably go up a little before the body starts to move, but it wont hurt anything. I'd be more concerned about damage from the wreck, then damage from the lift. Just put a floor jack under the center of the crossmember and raise it. The body can be supported like Damon's picture, but come in from the side if you use a cherry picker, so it's not in the way of rolling the subframe out. The point of attaching the hoist wont be where he's got his, as those holes will have the subframe bolts in them until it's off. Use the upper fender bolt holes where they bolt into the front of the firewall.
If you're really concerned you can raise the body and subframe together with the cherry picker and a floor jack, but you'll need a friend to assist as you go up.

I jacked mine up on the subframe, then put stands on the pinch welds. As far forward as I could. Then I placed the jack under the engine cradle section, just high enough to touch. Take the bolts out and lower the jack. Presto.

Yes, except once the body is up just roll the body back and the subframe can be left where it is.
