I hope you guys are just joking about the thingies...:-) When I discovered that mystery box in my 81, I took satisfaction in removing it and trashing it. It had zero effect on my car post removal. After all the only OEM engine part that was left was the distributor power line and tach line.

Now that I am in the middle of a full restro of this car, I look under the dash area and there are hundreds of wires going gods knows where. Some for the ECM some for the old AC unit and who know what else. Going through them and systematically removing them will be fun
