My 78 project

Well as I have said I picked up this 78 as a project and that it is. I have found no rust and I have looked in all the places that I have found on this forum where to look. All the interior needs to be redone and not sure on the dash if I can use a cap or if I'll have to do the whole pad. The one thats in it has a lot or warp. Trans and engine both need work and in the end will probably replace both, but for now I just need it drivable. When I brought it home the air cleaner was a fire hazzard so it went in the trash and I'll get a new one tomorrow. Body not bad but it might need a new front fender on drivers side. In the end we want black interior and a darker blue, and wife said today the wheels gotta go.
Can't quite figure out how to post pics so I'll work on that.

As a newbie you need to get to ten post. It helps with spammers.
I have been reading up on fixing the curl in the dash. Aparently GM needed to add a stud to the bottom of the dash pad. There is even a marking were they were going to do it. Guys have been fiberglassing a stud in there and bolting it down. If you want I can post a link.

When you post pics hit the "return key" after you post each link. That way the pics will stack vertically instead of across the page, and we wont have to scroll back and forth to read or view your posts.
Might also want to start a "project thread" in the project section father down the forum, as most the projects got moved there a couple months ago.

PS-Tell your wife she's right! Those wheels do need to go bye-bye!
And welcome to the forum! Glad to see another Camaro owner from Oregon!

I'll tell the wife you agree with her about the wheels! They look like something I would put on my Jeep. But it even has nicer wheels.
Can an administrator move this thread over to the project section? If so Thanks.
