Default My 2nd gen 71 camaro

Just stoppin in to check this place out. Looks like a really nice forum.
Name is Billy, I am from Texas and I just recently got out of Rock Crawling and into Drag Racing.. My Crawler was a 2005 Blue Torch Competition Buggy, Cralwer the rocks for 12 years and decided it was time to go fast.
Have always been in love with the Camaros.. 1st love is the 69 Z28.. Could not find what I was looking for so I bought this one and have been racing since July.. I am hooked on going fast now !!

Thanks for letting me look around.

Anyway, here are some Vids of my ride.

This one is me getting schooled by my buddy who has been racing about 20 years and won several Championship races.. I was totally asleep at the light and he took me to school..

Very nice Camaro! Did you trade the crawler for that?

Sold the crawler and bought this and then took the rest of the money I had left from the crawler and paid a bill or two off..

Spec's on the motor are not to forth coming.. I have not be able to locate the guy who built it.. Here is what I know about the car..

1971 Chevy Camaro, Full 4-link chassis, F/C cage. All steel except rear wing and hood. NHRA 7.50 certification is expired.

Pump Gas 502, iron Merlin heads, full roller, stud girdles, Dominator, coated Hookers. All forged, actually built as an endurance motor. Makes about 710 hp.

Glide, 180 straight cuts, pro-tree brake.

2 Optima's, Simpson chute, 15 x 33's, Dana 60, all aerospace brakes, strange coilovers.

Here is the Buggy

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Thanks guys.. I love the drag racing but I still miss the Rock Crawlin up in the mountains of oklahoma and the camping out in the middle of no where..

We had about 5 hardcore rigs and we would do that about once a month unless it was too hot...
