Default Losing Power

I am new to Camaro Forums. I have a 1978 Camaro with a 350 Engine. When I go up a hill my car will lose power and start to bog down. this also happens on flat ground. what could the issue be?

Have you tried shifting to a lower gear?

Try a carb kit, it's inexpensive anyway?

Are you running a Holley carb?
Could be a blown power valve.

You need to decribe the power loss better. Is it just lack of power, does it pop or hesitate, does it smoke, what color smoke if it does.

I have a Quadra Jet carburetor, I haven't had a good tune up in a while. The car doesn't smoke at all, and the car hesitates when it loses power, it seems like its not getting enough gas. I was thinking about installing a different carburetor. should I rebuild the old carburetor or just install a new one?
