Hi all,
This is a very long shot but I'm hoping for a little help... My wife's highschool car was a 1979 Berlinetta that was in pretty fair shape. It was silver w/ black interior and it had a stock 350cid in it. When we lived in Lincoln, NE we had our third child and needed the money to buy a larger vehicle so the Camaro had to go.
I searched the VIN# and paid my $2.50 and found that it was last titled in Nebraska in 2000. My hope is that it never made it to the oval dirt track.
If...(and thats a big if) I can find that car, I would at least like to find out if the party would sell it as it would make a great anniversary present. We have looked at other Camaros but none never measure up.
All I'm looking for is leads to contacts in Nebraska to anybody that bought a Berlinetta in 1998 or 1999 in Lincoln.
Any help is much appreciated as I know this is a very long shot.

Can you find out to whom it was titled to in 2000? If so, then you might be able to contact them and see if they either still have it, or who they sold it to. Did you try Car Fax? They have a search to find out details on used cars to see if they've been wrecked, etc. Might at least tell you if it was wrecked at some time, which could be the final result of where it went.
