interior heat
Hey guys, the interior of my car is getting pretty darn hot. I want to go with Dynamat soon but I need something that doesn't take that long to install. I've found some precut stuff here locally that all it takes is a heat gun. It's similar to this and I was wondering if anyone had used it. I want it to be able to come out fairly easy also so when I do some body work here when it starts getting cold again it's an easy job. That's when I'll hopefully install the dynamat.
So has anyone used a kit like that? Does it work at all?

RE: interior heat
this might sound stupid but i was on a tight budget so i went down to the home depot and bought berber pading that you put under your carpet, and it works just fine my car is quiet and it stays cool but i dont have A/C so it still gets hot but not from the tranny and motor. ya i know it sounds stupidbut i didnt have any money for the other stuff,it isnt cheap owning and driving a 73 camaor everday.

RE: interior heat
Since you're in the south, do you ever need to use the heat? If not, disconnect and bypass your heater core. Older cars with dried-out seals, or stiff moving vent doors, don't hold back the heat as well from the heater core/vent area. Bypassing it could help lower interior heat.
