Lower valance modification
Does anybody know if this is a lower valance for the 74 without modification on the left-hand side. Looks like some kind of air grill similar to the shape of a standard marker light assembly

Well I made the plug at of pink foamboard and sanded to shape you've got to skim over the pink foamboard with plaster or I used bondo, otherwise the resin will attack the foam and you will lose your shape. Or you can use epoxy glue which dries hard like fiberglass but that's an expensive way to do it and it will not attack the foam. So I use glass cloth for the initial coat. After I was satisfied with that. I removed the valance to make the upper flanged. This whole thing is a process. Going on YouTube I saw guys what they call body sculpting with glass they would make a reverse mold out of an existing hood or other piece and modify it to their look by hood scoop or a bearing or whatever. Then I used the heat gun or rather my Weller solder gun with a foam cutting attachments and remove the foamboard from the inside so I could lay it up with some stranded fiberglass to reinforce it.

That reminds me of a Herb Adams VSE 1980`s Cheverra.Race car. There were some pretty wild Camaros back then.On both sides of the "pond" Mine is like an IMSA /SCCA/IROC road racer of the era. And some parts are still and or can be made.
