Was wondering if anybody has/had purchased a Hotchkis TVS system for there 2nd gen. I was looking at getting one and was wondering how satisfied you were with your purchase. Good for everyday driving/ occasional 1/4 mile thrashes? Also, are traction bars reccommended with this kit. Thanks in advance.

 

Yup! I have the TVS with both traction bars on my 78 Z/28. It's a killer setup and you couldnt go wrong. 1/4th mile or all around its especially a great deal if you can get some good shox to complement it. Thats pretty much it, you can ask any other questions you might have.

 

I'm interested in the Hothckis TVS but I need to know how much ground clearance I would get with the standard Z28 15" tyres...I hoping its at least 10cm or 4"
