Help 79 Camaro
Here to join the community. Hello everyone.
I'm currently completely redoing my 79 Camaro. It's my hobby car. I just finished doing a entire front end polyurethane suspension kit one with graphite lubrication. I went ahead and got lowering springs with it. I'm now about to put headers on it this weekend. I'm replacing the rear shocks.(Did that front with front suspension kit) I have the engine picked out. http://www.enginefactory.com/350_430hp.htm The engine will be awhile though. I'm not sure where to go from that. I'm not really a car guy. I find working on the car when I get under there pretty easy and my friend helps hes a mechanic at a dealership. The condition of the car: The car has no rust very few minor dents. the interior is in pretty good shape needs carpet. I already redid the head liner. Really the interior is the last thing I want to do. I heard there is a "floater kit" to stop wheel hop anyone have a clue? Anyone have any suggestions where to go next? |

RE: Help 79 Camaro
the older camaros like 78 on back a few years had leaf springs... those would need traction bars.. i cant say for sure about 79 - 81 but if they had coil springs by chance then you would need a 4 link to hook up. i thought they had leaf springs though..

RE: Help 79 Camaro
81 was the last of the leaf springs.
