Default Have the fenders off - what inside coating?

I have the fenders off fo a few reasons and while they are off, and some rust issue is fixed, do you guys suggest anything as far as coating the inside of the fender?

If i do have to weld Im aware get that coated asap. But the rest of the fender....leave it as is or give it a primer coat and a coat of black Rustoleum or something?

What bout the flexible peices between the fender and the door. they attach to the fire wall. Any clue on the proper name and a part number?

POR 15 or a good epoxy primer like the stuff from southern polyurathanes. Epoxy will last for a few years in the weather unfinished. Por 15 works too, its just twicw as much and can't been painted over easily. Souther has a good rep for being top quality will ridiculously low prices. Its 140 bucks for epoxy shipped to your door and after mixing it works out to 2 sprayable gallons.
