HALO lights?

I've always felt that looks came last on a car. The first things are a nice running, or fast car that's mechanically sound so you don't have to be working on it over nice new paint.
After it's just where you want it mechanically, then interior if it needs it. The final thing is looks and dress up items.
I know there's that urge to make it look really nice, so it grabs attention, and gets compliments, but all show and no go will eventually get old. Saw a lot of friends in the past who built cars that looked like they were really fast and cool, but enbarassing when some jalopy beat them badly that looked like it couldn't beat a VW.

well i need to fix the rust on this puppy before there is no car left to make showey, and as for perfomance goes, i am not going to go much further than a complete rebuild of the 350, maybe bore it 30 over and put some decent cams in, nothing too crazy, and while i was rebuilding the engine i was going to park it in the garage and do some looks stuff, i already got a big chainlink steering wheel lol (not the best idea, but the stock one was melting and i had this laying around) and my 8ball shifter lol

Sure doesn't have to be super fast, just not blowing smoke, and starting/running perfect, without any leaks.
The chain link wheel will go well with Halo lights!
