Exclamation Go for it?

OK, it's been a while since I've been in here... lol... I used to have a 75 RS but I bought an '82 and had to lose the '75... well, I've been missing my second gen really badly and really regretting selling it. SO, I'm actually selling my '82 in order to get another second gen, I like them better. AND I found this: http://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/cto/1062073821.html the car is like maybe 6 hours away from me, maybe less with my driving (I live in NM) whatcha guys think? Body is in EXCELLENT shape from the look of it, still e-mailing with the guy. Looks like a good car, bet it's an easy fix too, if it's been sitting for two years I bet anything it's bad gas... and for $1000? just the BODY would be worth that, good interior too... Not a fan of the rear being lifted so high but it has shackles on it, easy enough to get rid of... input? It'd be nice to be back in the second gen tech section again

lol, my thoughts exactly. minus the "gods" part, more like, "God gave me another chance on on a second gen camaro" let's hope mine sell quick, this one is a real steal... says the passenger side door lock is sticky but some WD40 would take car of that and well worth it for a '77 for just the body and interior, let alone tranny and motor.... can't believe it hasn't sold yet it was posted a week ago and he just put it back up.

We shall see, there's a half-decent market for em around here so I shouldn't have a problem selling it.

Same here CPL, but it has shaclkes on it to lift up the butt and I plan on taking them off as soon as I get the car. They are NOT staying on there makes the thing looks STUPID. I like the stock height. And it'll get matching wheels instead of mis-matched ones.

lol, go figure, the guy used to live in El Paso, moved to Arizona, parked the car, and hasn't driven it since.... kinda sad...

I've got a set of centerlines for my 69 when its done. I would rather have some cragers though.

I'll probably go with some Cragars on this one. Probably a lighter blue color for the body and black/blue interior..... close to what my RS was but not gonna do the RS paint job.
