okay thanks guys but about distributor vac? should i give it part or full vac?

Hook it to the port on the metering block. I think you have a holley don't you? If not figure out the difference between ported vac and manifold vac. You want a ported source.

i've got a eddelbrock 750 it has timed and full vacuum ports? so timed vacuum then?

yup otherwise the engine vac with just pull it open at idle.

alright got it going today think its about 2 1/2 degrees advance but my manual says it needs 6 degrees advance that sound about right? what do you guys run for tdc advance

I like those valve covers. Time to pull it and clean and rattle can. Looks good though.

thanks tomorrow i think i'll try to get it timmed i got the gun tonight so tomorrow after i get done with school i guess i'll try my hand at that

is 75 bucks a good price for a 4spd consol? it'd be 95 with shipping
