Default Gauge Pointers

Hey Gents....Just got my 80Z back from the body shop with phase 1 of bodywork complete...I'll post pix soon. My next question: I have a broken pointer on my fuel gauge...Is it easier to replace the pointer (do they just pull off?), or replace the entire gauge in the cluster? Thanks

I'm not sure how the needle comes off,but i can say the gauge is very easy to change out. They sell the new needles on ebay though,if you decide to try changing it.

Needles just pull off, but be careful to pull gently, and same going back.
