Experience with any of these books?
I have a lot to learn about my '72 Z28 and figure that a little light reading might go a long way. Do any of you have any experience with these following books? Are they good references? Are there other books you would recommend?
1) Chevrolet Camaro, 1967-81 (Chilton's Total Car Care Repair Manual)
2) Chevrolet Camaro, 1970-81 (Haynes Manuals)
3) Camaro Restoration Handbook HPBooks 758
4) Classic Camaro HP1564: Repair, Restoration & Upgrades
5) Camaro Owner's Handbook HP1301
6) 1972 CHEVROLET CAMARO F Series Assembly Manual Book
~thanks

The haynes manuals will show you how to do alot, also chilton manuals either of these will cover most drivetrain parts, but the very best one you linked to is the assembly manual,it shows every part on the car as well as where it goes.I have an assembly manual, haynes manual, factory wiring diagram, and a chassis manual that cover mycar just to make sure there is nothing i cant find out if needed.

#1 and #2 are pretty basic, and if you're starting out they'll help with repairs, but lack indepth info. The others are all good, but address slightly different things. #3 is more about complete restoration, while #4-#5 are more maintaining, or doing less than full restoration.
Of course the shop manual is the most important if you're plan is a complette restoration and you want to see how each part goes together with others. It wont tell you tips and hints, but it will show the relationship and location.
If I was starting out I'd have #6 and either #4 or #5. Not all of them.
