Default Engine identification

Can someone here help me ID an engine?I am not to savy with GM engines. My wife bought a 74 camaro for me to restore for her.I was told the engine in place was a 400 with a 400 trans.I want to replace gaskets on the engine. It does have the big balancer on it but if it was a stroker it would have the same crank.I found these numbers on the back of the block where the bell housing mates up.On the drivers side it has GM 3951511 and J1372 on the passengers side it has T1 and CONVI.The only other marking on the engine is above the oil filter it has N67.Thanks in advance.

Default up date

OK I found a wed site that helped a little but still not sure..on the front passengers side below the head I found JHON stamped next to T1019CSA.So if I am right the T is Tonawanda the 10 is Oct. 19 is 19th and CSA would be either 73 or 76 as they show two different ones on the chart but do not tell how to tell which one you have. But there is supposed to be a vin number there as well and there is only the JHON

The block casting number show 3951511 it to be a 70-73 400 cubic inch motor. You know your camaro didn't come that way from the factory.

3951511 = 1970-73 400 used in cars, and 75-80 used in trucks. But what tells it is the J1372 casting date = October 13, 1972.
On the front pad, the 1019 (October 19) is the build date code. 6 days after the cast.
The CSA suffix code (73 or 76) would stand for 73 in this case since this engine was built for an early production 1973 model year car (new model years came out around August).
The CSA also means the engine came out of a full size Chevy (Impala, Caprice), 175 hp, equipped with a 2 barrel carb.
