Default engine/carb help

so i have a 78 camaro its got a hopped up chevy 350 im not sure what work was done to it i dont have any specs, all i know is it definitely at least has a mild cam, its got hydraulic lifters with roller rockers installed on iron eagle heads. My question is right now its running a 4150 holley dp thats running insanely rich (jets are huge) and im not very fond of holley carbs anyway, i want to switch over to a edelbrock my question is should i go with a 600 cfm carb or a 750 cfm? im only using the car for street- around town/daily driver thanks.

If you're swapping to the Edelbrock, I'd probably error towards smaller if performance isn't the priority.

Unless you think the 750 is smaller.

The Edlebrock 1406 should work fine as a street driver carb.

You'll have to order electric choke, or get a choke cable, and an insulator for install between carb and intake preventing heat soak of carb and boiling out fuel from bowl.

Reason is Eddy carb is two piece design, not a bad thing, and body and throttle plate are one compared to Holley and others. Heat travels.

Very well could be and probably is - I am over 40 and relying on memory here.
