Question emblem placement/color for L78

I have a L78 SS396 that the SS emblems have been removed need to know where to place them!

Grille, Fenders, back of car? I see that both black and white are avaliable what color for the L78?

Bringing it back!

Which version you have, (L78, L34, etc.) doesn't change the location. Your emblems should be black background with white lettering. The fenders on each side get the "396 Turbo-Jet" emblems with crossed flags if it's an RS, or the "SS 396" emblems if it's a SS version. These mount just below the body line on each side.
Also if it's a SS the grille gets the "SS" emblem also. The rear valance panel where the tailights mount are all satin black on big block 2nd. gen Camaros, so that would also need to be apinted if it's not presently so. No rear emblems on 2nd gen 396 Camaros.
I took all the 396 markings off my Camaro many yrs. ago. I kinda like the "sleeper" look, so nobody knows what I really have under my hood. I kept the SS emblem on the grille, since it doesn't disclose the cubic inches. No blacked out rear panel either on mine.

Thanks,
It is a true trim code L78 4sp car! any idea on what wheels it may have been built with? I have seen one with Magium 500 with ss centers says it's built correct.

No way to know, unless you had the build sheet. Mine came with the F70-14 white letter tires and ZJ7 "Spl Whl group".
