Couldn't you just put in your own power door locks?

I am in the process of doing a shaved handle kit right now on my 69. my handles are already shaved and I have the selenoids in. I have done a temp power check to them and they work fine without poppers. I just have to wire permenant power to them, hopefuuly by next weekend

BTW..I don't have power locks in the car

Now don't laugh,I saw them put door poppers in a car in Pimp My Ride. they used the auto locks to unlock and open the door at the same time for the poppers to swing the door open. If that is the same thing your talking about.

that is nothing to laugh at. Poppers are used all the time for shaved door cars. it is a big streetrod item. I don't really need them because I have bought very strong selenoids and all my hinges are new. on a 70 and up Camaro I would probably use poppers though becuase the doors are so heavy
