i am trying to change the lights behind the gauges on my 81 camaro. i can reach up underneath and get at some of them but some of the others will require me to take the dash cluster out to get at them. when i am trying to take the trim that goes around all the gauges, it requires me to take the head light **** out. the chilton book says i need to reachunder andpress something on the shaft of the **** while pulling it out. i am unable to see or feel where that is. does anyone have any easier ideas on how to get that out. i appreciate the help.

 

should be just some screws and the plastic will come off

 

ya well there was 6 screws i had to take off but then the plastic piecegoes around the headlight switch that makes it so the plastic doesnt come out. there must be some way for the shaft of the switch to come out and i just cant figure that out.
