Default Cylinder head identification

I have looked up some information on my cylinder heads, but was wondering what you all could tell me about them. They have a triangle on the bottom with 882 under it, and the number on top is 338882 or 333882. I know they have had a valve job done, and valve sizes are 2.02" INT and 1.5" EXH. I plan to run them for a while when i get the engine put back together and replace them later with these that were suggested by a gentleman at Summit:

Dart 127122 - Dart SHP Special High Performance Cylinder Heads - Overview - SummitRacing.com

Any other information on the heads would be great.

I'm going to guess that's a slight typo, and that they're actually 333882 heads. Not sure where you got the valve size info, but they are actually 1.94"/1.50" valve, with 76cc chambers. I just took a pair of these off my smallblock, and changed to aluminum heads with 2.02"/1.60" 64cc chambers and 195cc runners.
The 882 heads are considered smog heads and were stock on 350/400 engines from 1970-80. That's the largest chamber Chevy offered for SBC engines, and not conducive to performance or compression.
Those Dart heads look like they'll be a huge improvement over what you have now! You'll want to order a set of head bolts designed for aluminum heads at the same time!

I measured the valves in them, that's where the sizes came from. And i measured the chamber, it is still 76cc. Yes, i planned to order the bolts when i order the head this spring/summer.

Maybe someone changed the valves out to get to 2.02" valves.

That is what i believe, b/c the seat is in great shape and shows little to no wear at all. We think this engine was rebuilt, broken in, and then the car was parked behind a barn where it sat for a couple years, then driven in 2006/2007, and then parked again until i bought it in July 2008.
