Body Panel help
 

Hey guys,

I picked up an 81 Camaro a couple weeks ago, just been going through it and getting it running good. Now on to the ugly issues... Is there anywhere that sells a patch panel for the metal in FRONT of the rear tire? I haven't seen one, but as you can see I need one (and a rocker, and a door skin lol) Thanks a lot for the help. If not I guess I will be searching through some junk yards.

it looks like theres a lot of bondo there i would scrape off as much as you can before ordering so you can get the right panel might need a quarter but hopefully just the patch!

I do not think the body work that was exposed was done by a pro. Like Greencamaro said strip everything before ordering. 3/4 quarters (or quarter skin) are cheap and a lot easier then 2 or 3 patched.

Nothing wrong with bondo but it should never be thicker the .060-.070" (1/16"). You sure don't want to spend money on a paint job unless you sure of what you are putting is on.
