Cool, you have a set of crosshairs. i would love to get a set but they are so hard to find, trade a lower grill lol j/k.
Thanks Damon, the blackout would prob be fitting for when/if i decide to clone her. I think the Z's all came with black bezels if im not mistaken? |
Crosshairs? Must mean the parking lights. I know there different, didn't realize there sought after. And yes all zs had black bezels and front/rear window trim blacked out. And I have the lower grill so HAAA.
|
lol, you got a lower grill cool, yeah nobody around here has any of those parking light things (i thought they were called crosshairs?) they want to get rid of, wouldnt mind a set.
|
You are right they are called crosshairs or at least thats what i've always heard them called, watch ebay, they pop up every once in a while, they dont go cheap but they do show up on there sometimes.

Man my 78 has all kinds of neat little things about it. Makes me wonder about the person who ordered it. Blue w/ white interior, blue dash and carpet, and turbines. Also has the hood release thing coming out of the grill. No posi though he must have been a poser.

BTW Joe, I think the blacked out bezels look better too. |
Yeah, im going to black them out. You guys think i should use the same colour as the grills (semi-gloss)? or use a flat or satin black?
|
Same color.
The cable on my hood release is seized, but it will work when I'm done. Another trick is to drill straight through the lower grill and bumper and the little metal piece behind that. Then run a rod through all of that bolted to the hood release, then a put t-handle on the other end. Presto. No more crawling under. |
