Biggest Tires on a camaro!
I need Help!
I have a 1980 Camaro that i want to put ET Streets on the back but i don't know what size.
I have been told that i can fit 12.5x28-15 on a 10in. rim on the back without it rubbing at all and i was wondering if this is true? or will i have to put Air Shocks and Drag Bags in it to keep it from rubbing.
If You have any suggestions on tire size please tell. I am going for an Aggressive Street/Strip Look!

RE: Biggest Tires on a camaro!
The biggest tire/wheel combo we could fit on my '80 Z28 was a 275/60/15 tire on a 15x8 inch wheel with zero backspacing. I don't think there is really any more room for anything bigger without relocating some things.

RE: Biggest Tires on a camaro!
I have a buddy who ran 12" width on a '77 with no body mods (back in the day), but it was jacked up high with air shocks. :-O
DISCLAIMER: This was on my '69. :-) I ran 17x8's on the front with 4.75 offset and 17x9.5's on the rear with 5.5 offset. I might could've got a 10" wheel in there, but it would have been real tight. There's a guy on this site (Red70Camaro) that I believe is running that same combination on his '72.
I'm actively lookin to replace it with a 70-72 RS.
Spend some time searching the archives and I bet you'll find someone with an '80 model that lists their diameter, width and offset.
