big question

I like both, but what's the intended use for the car? If it's mostly street, then it really doesn't matter. If it's mostly racing and you want a high rpm engine, the 327 has a little edge over the 350.
But here's the real determining factor! MONEY! The 350 is a little cheaper to build the internals, as bearings, rings, and things specific to engine size are cheaper on a 350 than a 327. After that the costs for other parts and machine work are identical.
But you left out a 3rd choice! A big block Chevy!

thanks guys. yes funds are def. limited so unless i can get a big block from a junk yard for a couple hundred bucks id def. go that direction. i want the it to be one mean street car thats unbeatable at trafic lights... i have talked to some people that would take the 327 over the 350 any day and some just the other way around. my 350 is just a block with a the rusty crank. the 327 is complete sitting behind my buddys barn. thanks guys

Sounds like you'll never get the 350 where you want for "a couple hundred bucks" that you have. You can't even buy a engine rebuild kit for either for that price. Let alone "be one mean street car thats unbeatable at trafic lights..."
