The early Camaros with shoulder and lap belts should have a total of 4 sets for the front seat. Each can be worn individually, or together, as the shoulder belts had a separate buckle and catch.
The two sets of buckles both mount to the hump in the floor beside the seats, while the catches mount one to the door side of the seat, and one to the roof mount behind the seat. There is also a small plastic hook that allows the shoulder harness to be stored above the windows. Some later cars had a spring wire clip to do the same.
I don't have factory belts in mine any more, or I give you a picture. I converted mine to 5 point shoulder harnesses years ago.
Hope this helps.

If you're saying the 73 belts are still two parts like the earlier ones (separate lap and shoulder belts), then that's the same stock setup my 69 has. You DO NOT want to wear just the shoulder belt without the lap belt. In a front collision, you'll slide right under the shoulder belt and jam your body under the dash. That's good for a broken leg, at the least.

Those buckles on the early metal style could be a lethal weapon! They're made to last longer than the whole car, and heavy enough that if the shoulder belt falls from it's clip it will knock you out!

No with my stock setup in my 73 you have to use the lap belt with the shoulder belt,
it interlocks it's a nice setup but the heads of the belts are made of plastic instead of meatal like my new ones, but you can use just the lap belt wich is what i used to do not a fan of the shoulder belt really anoying, but i do use it when i go out and hit up some of the curvey roads around here, keeps my fat *** in the seat lol.

ya i have had the shoulder belts come flying out of the holder and nail my budy or me in the head lol,but now they know better than not to wear there seat belts when we take out the 73, it might not be fast but its still one of the better handleing cars i have ever drove and it will stick to the road like its on rails. lol
