its an easy swap man. Just a wing nut and pull the whole thing off, put the new one on, replace the nut... all is done....

Thanks I got it all done. I knew the basics but the old cleaner was vacuum powered and I didn't know what I could and couldnt remove (hoses, wires, etc), but I got it all figured out.

Make sure that you plug the open ports on the carb where the vacuum hoses went (if you haven't already). And did you still have a breather hose going from the passenger side valve cover to the base of the old air cleaner? DO NOT plug the hole in the valve cover. Get a push-in style breather at your local auto store. That cover still needs to be vented to allow the crankcase to breathe, otherwise you'll cause some possible external gasket leaks and internal blow-by issues.

Hey thanks. I plugged the open holes on the carb and I ran the breather hose to my new air cleaner( it came with the hardware to do so) I am going to get some chrome valve covers and I will put a push in breather on when I do that.
