79 berlinetta front clip

Is there a lower support for the cront clip center? I see holes punched into the bottom of the figerglass/plastic. If so can someone take a picture of it so I can start looking for one.

I think your looking at the holes for a chin spoiler. They were there even if the car didn't come with one. the bumper is what supports it and it is riveted to it.

It has the spoiler below the front bumper, but a PO hit something and split it in half. I live in a small town or should I say county. I know back three previous owners. The third back said do you still have the bracket for the front I said no. The bracket I guess braced the front spoiler.

When I said small county, I ment population wise. My county is 300 square miles less than connecticut. Or congressional district is larger than any state east of the Mississippi river.

I don't know. I have a spoiler coming in the mail next week. I can look under the T/A in the morning. The skeeters are swooping and taking small dogs right now.

BTW I have never seen a berlinetta w/ a chin spoiler. At least not stock. Post pics please.

You are correct about the front spoiler. It is just the bottom of the clip. It's split in the plastic piece. I need the bracket that bolt from the radiator support in the front and them bolts the front plastic to it. Does anyone have a spare of this creature they would be willing to part with? I bet it's the same on the 80 and 81 as well.

I'm not sure what it is you need. I do have alot of spare front end parts though. If you can't post a pic find one online and post it.

Just get a piece of tubing and flatten the ends, then bend them to match the radiator support and the front plastic. Drill a 1/4" hole in each end and bolt it on.
I made mine out of old tent poles and put them on in less than 1/2 hour total. Cheaper and easier than trying to find stock.
