79 BBC rngine mount
 
The TA is in the paint booth ,time to start on the 79 Camaro,I'm going to install a 70 402 BB,my question is: The engine frame mounts are 4" wide(stock) what am I going to need for engine mounts?:icon_shrug:

Depends. If you've got stock small block mounts you can buy stock small block engine mounts and they will bolt right on the 402 and work fine.
Or you can buy BBC frame and engine mounts, but you'll also need to modify your heater box to go that route. The BBC frame and engine mounts set your engine over to the pass. side so clearance is no good on the heater box, and you'll have to swap your heater core 180 degrees and punch new holes, or get a earlier 2nd gen heater core and box.
If you go the second route you'll need frame and engine mountss from a earlier 2nd gen that are designed for a BBC engine.
I'm running SBC frame and engine mounts on mine. I'd use either polyurethane engine mounts like the Energy Systems pieces, or the Moroso steel motor mounts if you don't mind the vibration.
