Are you talking stock rubber or aftermarket poly? I know you can get the aftermarket poly from Summit for a '78, as that's what I have on my '71 and I got them from Summit. I just measured the inside and outside diameter and then called Summit to order them. I had to talk with one of the tech guys to have them check the measurements and ensure I got the right ones. Mine are Energy Systems poly.

I was talking about stock but it really doesnt matter because i dont have any.I cut and sliced on a heaterhose and made one but the problem with that is they keep sliding out of place and end up getting a loud metal to metal contact noise. If its rubber it will have a slice in it and probably has rubber washers on the end to keep them in place and if its nylon it will have to be cut into.

Nope, mine are poly and they are split to get them over the swaybar. Both rubber and poly have steps built into the insert to keep them situated between the metal.
If you look at the enlarged picture here, you'll see the split on the swaybar bushings at around 8 o'clock position on the set in the left upper corner (right below the leaf spring bushings!):

Hey! I just did a search at NAPA online and found these too! They all say front, but I bet they'd work as long as you get the right diameter.

Those look homemade??? Mine are a single piece with a single bolt on one side that clamps the rubber bushing. Considering you may be dealing with a special size and mount, I'd go to a machine shop and have them turn a pair of nylon bushings to fit your swaybar and that clamp with a lip on the edge to kep it centered. Then just cut them in half with a hacksaw and install them.
This is what mine has on it:

You could still buy a pair of them from NAPA and use a sander to round off the corners to fit your clamps. Wouldn't take much work to knock them off and the remaining lip would still hold them in your clamps.
