'74 Camaro - HEI Distributor kit, etc - recommendations?
 

Hi guys,

I'm new to these forums but happy to be here. I've recently gotten back into the "Camaro thing" since my late teens. I originally had an '80 Camaro back in the day. Lots of fun. Now, 12 years later, I picked up a new baby:

1974 Camaro, 350 small block (low mileage, strong)

So, it's my new project car and I'm excited to build it up over the year. I've got some good people to help me do the work. I have some knowledge but little experience and few tools myself.
I'm hoping you guys can help recommend the appropriate and best parts.

The radiator/coolant system is done.

Next, I want to do the electrical stuff. I'm looking for a solid HEI Distributor kit with all the wires, etc. Also, I'd probably want to grab an HEI upgrade kit as well (if I can't get it all in one kit).
What do you recommend?

this is what you need ... it can be used as a stand-alone or with an ignition box. sometimes you can get them on ebay for $100.00 less. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku ... Sick

I Nwould just get any HEI from a junkyard and put the kit in it (the module and coil) that's what I did and it is so much better than points
