i just picked up a 73 z28 and think it needs a front spoiler , I see lots online but dont know the differance between the rs and the z28. to me they look the same, is there a differance between the two will one fit the other or is there something i dont see

 

The Rally Sport or RS has the 2 turn signal lights between the headlights and the grill and a 2 piece bumper. The Z28 without the the RS package has the turn signal lights below the headlights and a one piece bumper. I don't know the difference in spoilers but that's the difference between the RS and any 70-73 Camaro without the package. You'll find that some people replace the 1 piece full width bumper with the 2 piece but that's still not an RS.

 

The lower valance and header panels are different also for an RS. If you have a full width bumper, then you need to buy the non RS spoiler; if it's a factory split bumper or RS car, then get that spoiler.
