I am new to this site and to forums in general. I need some help on frame rail install for a 70 camaro. Here the story first I am not a lucky person as a rule.I called a friend looking for a new project. He called back and said he knew this guy that had an old camaro for sale and gave me the #.I called talked to the guys dad, he said I could come look at it.(45 mins away) Anyway we pull the tarp back and here is a 70 - 73 camaro basket case. I write down the vin numbers and it is a 70. It has the split bumper and the grill has a z28 tag in it but no other emblems anywhere else. It is a 4 speed car and has a 350 in it with a april 1969 date code What gives? Anyway I need some advice on the frame rails and verification.It is a pretty solid car looks like the fenders have been replaced and one 1/4 panel replaced needs floors rockers frame rails and whatever the side metal beside the back seats is called Thanks
