I have looked through the photo galleries on multiple sites and i also have an assembly manual and a haynes. all of which do not show the bracket behind the pump that bolts to the head. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cool

try going to a orielly autoparts store and getting a chrome chevy bracket/set for a sb chevy the bracket i found at my local store was an exact copy of the original one. Me though since i built my 350 up to the range of 500hp.

I figured it was a good idea to make a custom bracket and move the alternator down in front of the fuel pump the minimize the amount of belt slippage that happens when the alternator is in the stock location by the head. If you cant find one there i would suggest searching ebay for the power steering bracket
