70+ column shifter?
So, a friend of mine has made a bet where he'll eat my underwear(!!!!) if I can prove to him there's a 70+ column shift camaro. I've found a website with part numbers for them but he's not satisfied!
Anyone out there with pictures of a column shift camaro??!
PLEASE PLEASE send em or post! This could be a lot of fun!

RE: 70+ column shifter?
Your mate better start eating...
I recently purchaced a 1973 which has the goodie in the middle of the instrument panel which tells you what gear you are in. As you can see from the pic, the previous owner made a crude aluminum plate on the gear shift.
This car must have been a column shift because where the shifter is now located, there is nothing to switch the reverse lights on - I stuck on a magnet and a reed switch to do the trick for roadworthy inspection.
One other problem - it has T-Tops which are in bad shape and I would like to get replacements.
Anyone know if GM fitted them and where I can get some?[IMG][/IMG]
