Default 70 or 70.5 - What's the difference?

What is the difference between a 70 and a 70.5 (1/2)?
I've heard this term, however I do not know what the difference is.

they made the 1969 body through a coup;e of months in 1970, then the 1970 body style (2nd gen) started so they just put it as a 1970 1/2

Well theres quite a bit of difference between the 69 body and the 70 1/2.

But the question I have is has anyone ever seen a 69 style body titled as a 70???

I had also heard that they made that syle for a couple months before changing, but I have never seen a 69 style with a 70 on thetitle.

Not quite.....

"Sales of the 1969 models extended into the winter of 1969 and early 1970; some of these lingering '69s may have been titled as 1970 models, leading to some confusion."
