I never got down your way but had a great time up in Germany, Loved the twisty roads and the great cars. Sounds like you have the tires on it that you need. What brand tires you running on those Cragars? On my 2800BMW I ran Fulda or Continentals.

Mine had two holes drilled through the bumper in that center area that drops slightly, then a single bar that went under the tank and split to attach to each side outside of the tank. You can see I have two more bolts in my bumper than you have in this picture:

BB427... You have what spoiler on your trunk? Is that a D80 or not? It looks strange to me.

Never mind that one was carried all the way to 71... D80 was an option in late 70, early 71.

Vall has a one piece spoiler modified by himself. I still think its one of the best I have ever seen on an early second. If I get my hands on one I'm for sure doing that first.

OK so it was not just the camera view and my memory on when the D80 came out. I do like the D80 best myself, but that is a great looking real tall one piece.

Yes, it's the D80 with a few inches of aluminum glassed on to get it higher. Then I just shaped it to continue the factory lines upward. I almost went with a 2nd gen Trans Am back then, but a friend had this one NIB cheap, so decided to make my own version. Of course I got the same nay sayers that said I couldn't glass metal to fiberglass and not have it crack, as they did with the flares and old cowl scoop. 35 years now, and it's still looking like it did when I built it.

That is a nice piece of work there... wish I could have known you when I worked on that side of the country... was through there a few times a month.

I use the "traditional" BF Goodrich. When I bought it, these were on the rear, the front needed to be changed, so I bought the same.
I was surprised how well the Camaro handels narrow little roads! Even it has not a lot of power as indicated in the manual (115 hp), it feels quite light and accelerates well. It's a pleasure to drive... can't wait for summer!
