Magnaflow makes universal mufflers also, so you don't have to use the transverse muffler, unless you want to keep it looking stock, or need more clearance.

I would use the transverse if it was available in 3", Pypes has one. I was going to run a Pypes kit until Power Tour came last summer. Then I saw a Nova with a HUGH Pypes windshield sticker. That thing sounded horrible. Almost like glasspacks and straight pipe.

i don't feel so bad about mine now...
on a side note... he brought the car in today to get some 265's put on the back wheels, he's happy with the exhaust apparently...
and it sounds pretty good. a little "poppy"
putting the muffler further back aleaviates this, correct? better quality sound?

come to think of it...maybe i'll just keep the bumpers on and black them out...
