Mike V. Here...

I just wanted to say that in my Test drive so far, my car was tight but smooth..

I have New Coil overs and adjustable shocks all the way around, but I am using new Hotchkis Rear Springs, Sway bars, and Subframe connectors..

Also all new Chassis bushings, and It feels better than it used to..

But i haven't put any real miles on it, so updates to follow in a few weeks..

I don't have to worry about the Wife...She wouldn't get near it before, and now with the new exhaust, her and my neighbors will think I have gone mad...

Haha...I have...

Now see that is where my wife is great.... She loves hot rods and likes them when they rumble and a quick.... so now I just have to find the right Camaro and start building.

Oh and everyone needs to go on You Tube... Check out the new VW video.."The Bark Side".. very cute!!

That is cool that you get to Enjoy the cruising with the Wife. My Wife loves driving around in her modern hot rod, but not the beast.. So I am lucky that her car will always be Fast and Sporty.

The things I do with the beast, I would not want her in the car .. She would then know I am truly crazy... I am..

Not all that harsh... that can be subject to seat of the pants... if those pants are on a 25 year butt or a 50 year old butt. I love a hot car... I will be thinking about what to do. I take it you have a ballanced system, sub frame connecters and all. I am looking for something I can play with and then turn around and drive across the state.

thanks for all the input guys. Yes this is just a pure race car. I am building to run in NASA AIX class. I have a 07 GT500 ( I know its ford lol) for the fast street car as well as my late fathers 92 c1500 that is dropped, I am doing a cab off resto on that currently.

I will start a new thread as soon as I get started on the car. But Im hoping to push close to 600hp to the crank. Possibly a LS motor if I decide to go that route.

I can post pics of the shelby if you guys want

She dyno'd at 551RWHP corrected. I just ran the 1/8 mile here at sebring with the PBOC charity event. No timing but I was trapping 95mph. No traction out of the hoel but I beat a new Z06, turbo'd eclipse along with a few drag prepped fox bodies and a slew of imports and such.

We all share the common dislike to the "ricers" and import F@gs

Sweet ride there.. and the ricers with the leaf blower exhaust should get rammed off the road.

I don't have an issue with ricers as long as they real performance cars. Like big turbo motors is the 9's. I don't like the clapped out Saturn with a fart can and a triple decker wing on it that smokes ridiculously because the owner drives it like a race car.

I'm a dyed in the wool pure Chevy fan, but your GT500 is a very nice car!
