Default 1977 firebird restore

Hey guys I recently bought a 1977 pontiac firebird. I believe the car's engine has been swapped with a Buick 350 ( how do I check and find out exactly what engine and tranny it has ?) and allegedly a TH350. The car needs some paint work and possibly a new rear quarter panel and alot of interior work. Thankfully it comes with front disc brakes but Im going to most likely upgrade the brake system in time. My first problems are:

1. The car has a rough idle, engine has a 4 barrel carb and every thing seems sound and it runs strong but when I am standing still in gear it dies out unless I give it some gas. Any ideas ?

2. I need to find the following interior parts and am having no luck: new dash (has cracks), Possibly new dashboard and insturmentation (aftermarket is ok), Seats, and carpet.

3. The biggest problem on the body is the minor rusting and the rear quarter panel. Ill have picks up soon does any one know if this thing had an all metal body ?

4. The hardest thing to find has been the complete nose or bumper cover. I have found other year birds and what not but not 77'. Any one have an idea where I can find one ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all very much.
