I have what I believe to be a 1973 Berger Camaro. I have tried to reserch the car but cant find much of a data base. Bergers came out of the Berger Chevrolet dealership, in Detroit, and were modified before sold. Mine has alot of odd stuff to include a rear center console and steel fender flairs. Has the .....By Berger on the tail panel. Would love to find out more about it. Im not sure how to desciffer the serial number. Any help? Thanks.

 

Do you have any pictures? Are there any door stickers? Etc?

 

I just looked and there is no i.d plate on the firewall. The vin# is there.

Those were the days! Amazing how many Chevy dealers did in house motor swaps, and performance/cosmetic upgrades, without Chevy's sanctioning. I know the big boys like Yenko and Motion kept records, but not sure about Berger. Since they're still in business, and still doing them, I'd bet they kept records.
