A true split bumper car will have the parking lights between the grille and the headlights. Full bumper cars have parking lights in the valance. Also check for RPO Z22, the production code for RS option. You can find the code on the build sheet and most have the code on the trim tag.

The grille is different too but could be easily changed. Only RS models had the endura nose piece.

The RS (aka. split bumper) was a cosmetic option only and had nothing to do with drivetrain options.
