I have a 1968 RS/SS, with problems with the headlight doors opening. Have tried searching on the web for some one or some place to obtain the diagram or print out of the vacumn actuator system for the 68 RS. Can any one help me with this? Need to see some thing that show the whole system and how it works and what parts are involved.

check with Year One and see if they have an assyembly manual it should show the parts

 

The assembly manual shows the layout but it will take a bit a study. I just put mine back together.

Shoot me an email and I try to send you a copy of the layout.

 

I have the same problem. I was thinking of using Detroit Speed's electric actuators to replace the whole mess.
