What can I do with scrap car tyres?
 

Im thinking about starting to collected scrap car tyres and then make some money out of them.

Anyone know what to do with them once I get them, any recyling company that pays etc?

I don't think anyone pays to buy scrap tires, so if making money in the scrap tire business is your thinking, then you need to consider being a middle man. Tire dealers charge customers a fee to dispose of the old tires they remove. Then they pay someone to haul off the tires. The person hauling the tires has to pay a recycling company to get rid of the tires, so he marks up his fee to the tire stores high enough to make some money too.
The big problem is you're going to go against existing companies that already do this, and if you're cheaper, you might find you're working for a very small hourly rate. Might be better to get a job at McDonalds, and make more money.

I think you might have a better chance at making and installing tire swings.
Just be sure to have an effective marketing plan, and good follow-through. lol

Try selling them to a tug boat company, I've noticed they like to use old tires as bumpers when pushing barges and ships around. lol

You know, if this guy strikes it rich with any of these ideas, we're gonna be kickin ourselves in the ars! :)
