68 camaro tire size

What's the biggest size tire/rim I can put on the rear?
And for the front should I have skinny or regular sized??

The age old question!! It depends on a number of factors such as the nature of the suspension/shocks (stock or modified) and whether you have mini tubs. I will assume that you are stock with multi leaf springs. Back spacing and rim width are also important. Its hard to say without knowing any details, but you should be able to put 255/60R15 or even (?)275/60/R15 without problems depending on the previously stated considerations. Some people put up to 18 rim size on these as well.

I personally am running currently 8.5x15 rims with a 4 7/8 back space. Plan to move to a 9x15 with a 4.25 back space. At that time I will upgrade tires to M/T ET Street Radial Pro which is a 275/60/R15 tire, but a little bit fatter and taller than some others the same size. 28.2 tall, 11.4 sec width, 9.8 tread width... the shape depends a bit on the rim width...
Do you want to use larger than 15 rims?

My rear suspension is not completely stock even though I have retained the multi leaf springs. Hotchkis rear anti sway, QA1 adjustable shocks mounted inboard of the frame and Competition Engineering slide a lnk traction control. I also have Hotchkis subframe connectors. The rear is very stable during launch.

Thanks guy. Sorry for the late response. I shipped out to bootcamp and I dislocated my shoulder and got held and extra 10 weeks. But I'm out and got a fat bank account.

Glad to hear that you ultimately survived boot camp. Since my last post I have upsized the rear tires to Hoosier 275-60/R15 Drag Radials which are mounted on Weld 15" x 9" wheels with a 4.5" backspace. Still no issues with rubbing...

Have fun spending your money on the car... I know I do...
