Default Engine Production Codes

I have a 1967 Camaro RS/SS. The engine production code starts with a "V". I've been able to find F, T, S, R and K, but no V under the location of the original build. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

350 or 396? If the 350 (295 h.p.), then the suffix code on the front pad of the block should be either a MS, MT, MU, or MV.

It is an MU. I ended up finding it - the "V" indicates that it was a V-8 built in Flint, MI. Thanks for the reply.

That MU code also means your car came with the powerglide trans (if you didn't already know).
